D. Carter Fournier

Partner

Mr. Fournier has senior responsibility for overall Partnership management and oversight of sourcing and managing investments at Concord. His responsibilities include originating investment opportunities, performing acquisition due diligence, financial modeling, transaction structuring property management and asset management. 

Before co-founding Concord Capital Partners, Mr. Fournier was most recently at Montgomery Street Partners, a Dallas based real estate private equity fund. At MSP, Mr. Fournier participated in a series of programmatic entity level GP and LP investments. These investments included a national student housing, retail, hospitality and self-storage platform that purchased assets in excess of $1.5 billion.  Prior to MSP, Mr. Fournier spent seven years as a partner at Greenway Investment Company, an opportunistic real estate investment and development firm with assets in excess of $1 billion. At Greenway, Mr. Fournier focused on acquisitions, development, asset management, debt placement and fundraising efforts across multiple product types. Mr. Fournier earned a BA in Real Estate Finance from SMU’s Cox School of Business, where he later went on to earn his MBA with a focus in Real Estate Finance and Strategy and Entrepreneurship.

Mr. Fournier is also a partner of Pittman Stovall, a boutique residential real state firm in Dallas. The firm was led by his Aunt Judy Pittman but after her passing he became more involved in the strategic planning and management of the brokerage.

Active in the community, Mr. Fournier serves on the board of the SMU Folsom Institute for real estate, previous board member of the City of Dallas Tax Increment Financing District and active member of Christ the King Church.

Mr. Fournier lives in Dallas with his wife Hayley and daughters Sophie, Madeline and Elle.

 

Benton S. Rutledge

Partner

Mr. Rutledge has senior responsibility for sourcing investments at Concord. His responsibilities include originating investment opportunities.

Before co-founding Concord Capital Partners, Mr. Rutledge spent 7 years a partner at Greenway Investment Company, an opportunistic real estate investment and development firm with assets in excess of $1 billion. At Greenway, Mr. Rutledge was responsible for the firms acquisitions efforts in retail, industrial, multifamily and land sectors. During his tenure at Greenway, Mr. Rutledge was responsible for a series of acquisitions. Prior to Greenway, Mr. Rutledge spent 11 years at Colliers International where he was consistently a top producer and specialized in industrial tenant representation and land acquisition.  While at Colliers, Mr. Rutledge participated in over 200 transactions totaling over 9 million square feet. Mr. Rutledge received a B.B.A in Business from St Edwards.

Mr. Rutledge lives in Dallas with his wife Kathleen, 2 daughters Mary Rose and Ruby Anne and son Benton.

 

J. Matthew Yeaman

Partner

Mr. Yeaman has senior responsibility for overall Partnership management and fundraising efforts. His responsibilities include transaction structuring and debt/Equity placement.

Mr. Yeaman has over 20 years of commercial real estate investment experience both in lending and acquisitions. Mr. Yeaman began his career with Archon Group in 2000 and spent five years with the firm. While at Archon, Mr. Yeaman worked in a group that underwrote, acquired, and developed commercial real estate opportunities on behalf of Goldman Sach’s Whitehall Street Funds.

In addition, Mr. Yeaman was a Vice President at Park Cities Bank in Dallas and an Associate in the Real Estate Debt Capital Markets Group at Barclays Capital in New York City. At Barclays, he conducted due diligence and legal review for workouts of existing balance sheet assets and worked on the distribution of B-Notes and mezzanine debt to buyers of subordinate risk. At Park Cities Bank, he worked in the Special Asset group and focused on restructuring substandard loans, foreclosures, and the sale of OREO.

Most recently Mr. Yeaman co-founded Indio Capital, a commercial real estate venture that invested in multifamily redevelopment. Mr. Yeaman is also the founder of Yeaman Advisory, where he directs limited partner investments in commercial real estate ventures.

Mr. Yeaman received a BBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University and received an MBA from Georgetown University.

Mr. Yeaman lives in Dallas with his wife Erika and his 2 daughters Mary Sophie and Olivia.

Mrs. Anderson manages the daily oversight and coordination of all accounting and property management aspects of Concord Capital Partners She has over 30 years of real-estate related accounting and management experience.
